# Metre catalogue provenance `meters.tsv` is a snapshot of Ambuda's Vidyut catalogue at commit `8da2f90bee3ce1c07505fa432fc3729e3f7e02ea`: https://github.com/ambuda-org/vidyut/blob/8da2f90bee3ce1c07505fa432fc3729e3f7e02ea/vidyut-chandas/data/meters.tsv Vidyut is MIT licensed. Its data README credits Shreevatsa Rajagopalan's Sanskrit metres project and Dr. Dhaval Patel's transcription of Vṛttaratnākara. The upstream license is retained as `VIDYUT-LICENSE.md`. The BIVR analyser adds source references, uncertainty, bounded contextual segmentation, pathyā Anuṣṭubh rules, and provider-independent recording plans. It does not treat the catalogue as a complete account of Vedic metres or all metrical liberties. Vidyut's chandas module is itself documented as experimental.
